Is my payment information secure on Pado?
Absolutely. We do not store your card details or banking information. All payments are processed securely through Moniepoint, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Your payment data is encrypted end-to-end.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major Nigerian payment methods through Moniepoint: debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Verve), bank transfers, and USSD payments. You can also use your Pado Wallet balance for instant purchases.
Does Pado handle property sale payments between buyers and sellers?
No. Pado Real - - we do not process or escrow property sale payments. The actual property transaction happens directly between buyer and seller through their lawyers and banks. We strongly recommend all property payments be made via traceable bank transfer, not cash.
I think I have encountered a fraudulent listing or agent. What should I do?
Report it immediately through our Contact Us page. We investigate all fraud reports within 5 business days. Provide the listing URL, agent name, screenshots of communications, and details of any payments made. If you have suffered financial loss, also report to the EFCC and Nigeria Police Force.
Legal and Compliance
Is Pado Real Estate a licensed real estate company?
Pado Real Estate is a property listing and technology platform - we connect buyers with agents and property owners. We do not buy, sell, or own properties ourselves. We encourage all agents on our platform to register with relevant professional bodies (NIESV, REDAN) and comply with all applicable Nigerian real estate laws.
Where can I find Pado's terms of service and privacy policy?
Our User Agreement and Privacy Policy are accessible from the footer menu and the More dropdown in the main navigation. The User Agreement covers terms of use for all users. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Does Pado verify property documents like C of O and Deed of Assignment?
For the Verified Listing Badge, we verify that the documents provided match the agent's identity and property description. However, we do not conduct full legal verification (Land Registry search, survey verification, consent chain review). Full legal due diligence is the buyer's responsibility - see our Property Buying Guide for guidance.
How do I report a legal issue or dispute?
Contact us through our Contact Us page with details of the issue. While Pado is not a party to property transactions, we investigate reports of fraud, misrepresentation, and platform abuse. We may suspend or terminate accounts found to violate our terms of service. For legal disputes between parties, engage a qualified property lawyer.
